The return window has closed, so I will be donating this one to my local library.As for the outside of the MacBook: the keyboard has been changed slightly too, but Apple isn't calling it a 4th generation butterfly keyboard quite yet. And all screen shots are clear and in color. Instead of this book, I would recommend "Teach Yourself Visually MacBook." I've had that book less than a week and already found it extremely useful, easy to understand, and logically laid out.

The title made me think this would be a good book (we are both in our 60s), but I was exceedingly underwhelmed.įor instance, the book goes from working with partitions to running in dark mode to unsubscribe from a mailing list - in that exact order over the course of 10 pages - but there is nowhere that fully describes how to use Apple's mail function - WTF?!? On top of that, the "screen shots" presented are all grayscale, small scale, and blurry to boot - unreadable for most senior eyes. My partner is an artist who is unfamiliar and uncomfortable with computers, so I am determined to help him get comfortable.
